Arthroscopes Market Analysis | United States | 2019-2025 | MedCore
Arthroscopes are visualization instruments that allow for minimally invasive joint surgeries by enabling the surgeon to see into the joint. In this chapter, the video cameras in the arthroscopes are not included or discussed. The types of procedures that are typically performed with arthroscopes include joint debridement, microfracture repair, ligament reconstruction and diagnostic imaging. The first generation of arthroscopes utilized a variant of miniature-camera technology that was adapted for medical applications. The later adoption of fiber-optic technology in medicine allowed for arthroscopes to become smaller and more efficient.

Hand instruments are mostly non-disposable, unpowered, metallic instruments that are used as hand tools for surgery. These include, but are not limited to, graspers, knives, probes, punches, scissors, scissor punches, dissectors and shears.
Each of these tools comes in a variety of configurations and geometries to suit surgeon preference and surgical need. Because hand instruments are essentially a commodity market, the key differentiating factors are ergonomics and surgeon preference. Hand instruments are often sold as part of a complete package of devices for the treatment of a specific indication, such as anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction or rotator cuff repair. More recently, they are becoming available for hip arthroscopy and small joint repair.
Arthroscopy Market Analysis, Size, Trends | United States | 2019-2025 | MedSuite | Includes: Arthroscopes, Disposable Cannulas, Arthroscopic Hand Instruments, Fluid Management Disposables, Shaver Blades, Radiofrequency Probes, Drill Guide Systems, Drill Guide Disposables & Suture Passers
The full report suite on the U.S. market for arthroscopic devices includes arthroscopes, disposable cannulas, hand instruments, fluid management disposables, shaver blades, radiofrequency (RF) probes, drill guide systems and disposables and suture passers. Power instruments are covered in an appendix.

Radiofrequency (RF) probes use a form of electrothermal energy to cut, ablate and shrink damaged tissue. By these means, disruption and blood loss of the surrounding tissue is reduced compared to physical cutting. Because RF technology operates at a lower temperature than other comparable methods, the surrounding healthy tissue is less likely to be damaged.

Industry Trends Throughout the forecast period, the ventral hernia market share will increase at the expense of the inguinal hernia market. This shift will be a result of lower growth in the inguinal hernia market, compared to the ventral hernia repair market, and not an actual decline in the inguinal hernia market. The rising frequency

The full report suite on the European market for dental bone graft substitutes (DBGSs) and other
biomaterials includes dental bone graft substitutes, dental growth factors and dental barrier
membranes (DBMs). The growing number of GPs placing implants is driving the total markets for dental bone graft
substitutes and other biomaterials forward by increasing the volume of dental implant
procedures. The growing number of GPs placing implants increases the probability that a patient
is informed on the importance of having a sufficient level of bone in their jaw prior to the
procedure. Ultimately, this will result in a greater number of patient referrals to specialists for
dental regenerative procedures that incorporate dental biomaterials.
Orthobiologics Market Size, Share & COVID19 Impact Analysis | Europe | 2019-2025 | MedSuite | Includes: Orthopedic Bone Graft Substitutes (Allograft Bone Graft Substitute, Synthetic Bone Graft Substitute, and Demineralized Bone Graft Substitute Bone Matrix), Hyaluronic Acid Viscosupplementation, Bone Morphogenic Protein Growth Factor Therapy & Cartilage Repair (Segmented by Osteochondral Allografts, Meniscal Allografts, Autologous Chondrocyte Implantations, and Osteochondral Autografts)
The total European orthobiologics market is growing at a rate of 1.6%, which will take the 2018 market value of €521.2 million up to €582.3 million by 2025. Constraints on reimbursements will continue to limit the European orthobiologics market. Presently, only a few premium products under the umbrella of pharmaceuticals are reimbursed by the government

A recent emerging trend in this market is using these devices to increase biotype and soft tissue thickness around implants. The number of dental regenerative matrix units sold is partly correlated with the number of dental implant procedures in a given country. This explains why, population differences aside, unit sales in Germany, Italy, and Spain

Over the next few years, the biologic segment will expand at the expense of the synthetic segment. Total unit sales growth will be partially offset by continued price decreases, although the pricing pressures resulting from increasingly limited reimbursement rates will start to level off over the next few years. The dura mater is a tough,
