Nobel Biocare will be offering a new implant solution through a partnership with Dentalpoint, a leader in ceramic dental implants.

This collaboration will add a new implant option to Nobel Biocare’s range of titanium dental implants with TiUnite surfaces, with Dentalpoint offer its expertise to help meet patient demand for metal-free solutions and high-end esthetics.

“Nobel Biocare has formed a new partnership with Dentalpoint to add a zirconia implant solution to its portfolio.“

Dentalpoint is the developer of the Zeramex implant brand and is responsible for the first completely metal-free two-piece bone level implant system with internal connections that is not dependent on cement.

It allows clinicians to treat patients with zirconia implants using protocols similar to those used with traditional implants, while adding greater restorative flexibility than one-piece or cement-retained ceramic implant options.

Nobel Biocare expects to be able to offer this new implant solution in early 2018.

Hans Geiselhoringer, president of Nobel Biocare, said: “Nobel Biocare customers will very soon be able to offer their patients the very first completely metal-free screw-retained two-piece implant solution with an internal connection.”
