iData’s Update on MEDICA 2021 – Day Three
Sam Habibi, iData’s European Representative, is on his third day attending MEDICA 2021 in Düsseldorf, Germany. Sam’s opportunity to meet with iData’s numerous clients at MEDICA has created plenty of personal connections, providing our team with interesting insights on the future of medical device technology in 5 keys areas of Orthopedics, Cardiovascular, Imaging, Diagnostics & Monitoring, and Endoscopy.
Although all of Sam’s networking has been of interest, in this post we are highlighting three medical device companies that are truly at the epicenter of innovation at MEDICA 2021.
SternMed
Founded in 2011, SternMed’s mission is to make quality healthcare accessible worldwide. Their German engineered product portfolio includes medical equipment for imaging systems, OR solutions, and patient care. One of their featured products at MEDICA includes the Vento 62. The Vento 62 is an advanced ventilator system containing a close-loop control system, proportional valve control technology, and multiple pressure and volume protective systems. Fukuda
Fukuda Denshi’s technologies aim to create an impact across the globe with their Electrocardiographs, Patient Monitoring Systems, and other medical engineering devices. Their mission of safe, speedy, accurate and user-friendly solutions that put the patient first is adeptly shown through their featured product, the Cardimax FX-8300. Bittium
Bittium is known for their development of reliable and advanced biosignal measurement products in segments such as cardiology, neurology, rehabilitation, occupational health, and sports medicine. In particular, their featured product at MEDICA 2021, the Bittium Faros, is a waterproof ECG device designed for early detection of cardiac abnormalities.
