W.L. Gore recently announced the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval of the GORE® TIGRIS® Vascular Stent, a dual-component stent with a fluoropolymer / nitinol design. The GORE TIGRIS device is a third generation self-expanding stent.
