Cardiovascular

The cardiovascular market research reports by iData cover Interventional Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery, Cardiac Rhythm Management and the Electrophysiology market. The fastest growing segments within interventional cardiology are expected to be driven by new technologies, such as CTO crossers, FFR guidewires and OCT catheters. The vascular access market will grow due to a combination of increasing patient population and the shift towards technologically advanced devices that will continue to gain market share at the expense of older, less expensive devices. iData’s cardiovascular device market reports also include cardiac surgery, cardiac rhythm management, and other cardiovascular devices and procedures. Check out our different cardiovascular device market reports below.

Cardiac Rhythm Management Market Analysis, Size, Trends | Europe | 2019-2025 | MedSuite

Reprocessed diagnostic electrophysiology (EP) catheters accounted for a significant percentage of all diagnostic EP catheters used. Reprocessed catheters have a much lower ASP than non-reprocessed catheters, and so this limits the market. To counter this effect, companies are placing more marketing emphasis on high-end catheters that are not reprocessed. The practice of reprocessing EP devices

Catheter Securement Devices Market Analysis | Europe | 2020-2026 | MedCore

After catheters are placed, they must be secured to prevent catheter migration, pistoning or dislodgement. Minor catheter movements can irritate the vein and cause phlebitis, while larger movements can create dislodgement and cause catheter infiltration and possibly infection. These problems can create a need for catheter replacement, which increases both cost and the chance of needlestick injury. All catheters require some form of securement, which varies depending on the catheter and healthcare facility.

Dialysis Catheters Market Analysis | Europe | 2020-2026 | MedCore

Dialysis catheters are used for facilitating dialysis for patients whose kidneys are unable to properly filter water and waste. Most patients treated with dialysis have been diagnosed with end-stage renal disease (ESRD); however, patients suffering from acute kidney failure can also receive dialysis. Glomerular filtration rate (GFR) is a test used to assess kidney function. In turn, patients with chronically low GFRs are diagnosed with chronic kidney disease (CKD). When the GFR drops below the threshold, which is when kidney activity is less than 10% of normal levels, patients are considered to have progressed to Stage 5 CKD or ESRD. Patients with ESRD require a kidney transplant or dialysis. However, many ESRD patients are not suitable candidates for kidney transplants.
